Children today are increasingly special compared with their parents and bring unusual challenges to their upbringing and education. Parents do not always feel able to meet the child's expectations and often do not know what to do. These are usually caring, gentle, loving, intelligent and active children. However, they do not identify with the actions of most people and, if they find no answers among those around them, they withdraw or seek attention in other ways!…
WHAT CAN YOGA DO FOR THESE CHILDREN?
As we have said in other writings, there are no formulas, and Yoga does not answer every situation. There are cases and situations that must be assessed in context and with care, so as not to create false expectations.
Even so, Yoga is a practice that, adapted to the child, can develop all the best that lies latent in them: helping to keep flexibility and harmony, helping concentration through simple techniques, and helping to keep the values of life in society in an ethical, mutually supportive way, creating even more harmony and love wherever they are.
It helps physical development through Ásana, teaches better breathing, increasing vital energy and learning how to direct it, and helps the child face the stress of exams and tests calmly and serenely. In short, it teaches them to grow up healthy and happy, with time to play and learn, in a calm, balanced way.
